At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Fire and Police Pension Fund held on the 6th day of November 2014, Secretary Craig Joel presided. The meeting was held at the Pension Office, 6009 John Douglass Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
The meeting convened at 0905 hours with board members Craig Joel, Jerome Halbert, Kelly Simmons, Phillip McClain, and Brent Goldberg. Attorney Bill Robinson was also present. Chris Willmore, Mark Coffman, and Less Lee were excused absences.
Motion by Jerome Halbert and seconded by Phillip McClain to approve the minutes from the October 16, 2014 meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
Attorney Robinson updated the Board on the status of the Frazier lawsuit.
Motion by Phillip McClain and seconded by Brent Goldberg to approve the following membership changes:

Former Police Officer Carl L. Ritchey, terminated 10/24/2014, pension service date of 01/13/2014 (2-413)

Janet Johnson and Dennis Blanton of Lattimore, Black, Morgan, & Cain presented their report to the Board of the annual Financial Compilation and Agreed Upon Procedures. Brent Goldberg recommended reviewing and modifying the Agreed Upon Procedures annually prior to engagement.
At the request of Kelly Simmons, the Board discussed the Fund’s procedures on incorporating changes in pay plan and other personnel modifications.
Motion by Brent Goldberg and seconded by Phillip McClain to adjourn at 0937 hours. Motion carried unanimously.
